Privacy & Consent

The Faithful Youth Challengers' Department (FYC) of The Church of God (Seventh Day) in Jamaica and the Cayman Islands is the data controller for this form. We collect your church, the names and phone numbers of your contact person(s), an optional contact email, the names of your team's participants, and your pastor's name and signature to process your team's entry in the Challengers' Bible Quiz Competition 2026, contact your team, and administer the competition. The pastor's signature is sensitive personal data (a biometric), which we process only on the basis of the explicit written consent given below, as required by the Data Protection Act, 2020. Providing this information is required to enter a team; without it we cannot process your registration. Your data is held in secure, access-controlled storage by our cloud hosting provider on servers in the United States — by consenting you agree to this transfer outside Jamaica. It is seen only by authorized quiz administrators, and is kept for 6 months after the competition before deletion. We do not sell it or share it with anyone except the service providers needed to run the competition. You may ask to access, correct, or delete your information, or withdraw your consent, at any time — we respond within 30 days (21 days for objections). If a breach affects your information we will notify the Information Commissioner within 72 hours and tell you. Where a participant is a minor (under 18), a parent or guardian must give this consent.
